11:00-12:30 — stories

For whom: for seniors

Participation in the meeting is free of charge. Registration for the meeting at tel.: 22 127019 00 or zapw9egkisyanielewicza@dks.art.pl

About the meeting:
This is a unique gathering for seniors full of stories, memories and creating together. We will start with live stories about magical gardens, unusual places among nature and ancient legends associated with nature. It will be a time to listen and discover how nature has inspired people for centuries.

After this part, we will invite participants to the workshop. Together we will create a great map of our “magic gardens” - those remembered from childhood, youth or important moments of life. We will remember the plants, flowers, trees and animals that accompanied them, as well as share stories and memories.

The project “In the Gardens of Memories” will be an opportunity to have a good time, get to know other people and talk about how we can take better care of nature and enjoy it every day. No artistic skills are needed — memories, imagination and the desire to act together are all that matters. The meeting is led by storytellers from Warsaw's Tamdarym Stories Collective: Sylwia Dec and Katarzyna Hermann.

About the artists:
Sylwia Dec — storyteller in the Tamdarym Story Collective and writer of Prószyński and S-ka publishing house. She writes books for women, in which nature plays an important role, conducts projects on ecology and the art of live storytelling in cooperation with foundations from all over Poland.

Katarzyna Hermann — a storyteller of eco-novels, working in the Tamdarym Tales Collective. A graduate of the School of Integral Ecopsychology and postgraduate studies in Fairy Tale Therapy. He runs the Verbascum Foundation, in which he deals with environmental and cultural education.
