“Don Giovanni” is an opera in two acts, composed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart with a libretto by Lorenzo Da Ponte based on Moliere's play Don Juan.

This is a universal story about human passions, unbridled lust and punishment that reaches the main character.

“Don Giovanni” belongs to the masterpieces of opera literature. It is one of the most significant works in the history of opera. Connoisseurs of the genre emphasize not only the brilliant music of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, but also its unyielding libretto, which was created by the playwright and Italian opera creator Lorenzo da Ponte.

Mozart's work from the day of its premiere continues to enjoy worldwide popularity and is considered one of the most outstanding works in the entire Mozart compositional legacy. It belongs to the “iron repertoire” of every opera not only in Poland, but also in Europe.
