The play, inspired by the legendary novel by Miguel Cervantes, tells the story of the Wicked Knight and his faithful squire Sancho Pansa, who wander through Spain. In one of the villages they meet a couple in love. Poor Cyrulik Basilio loves the beautiful Kitri. The girl already has a rich suitor for her hand and... a strict father, for whom it is important that the daughter marry a wealthy candidate. Basilio, however, hopes that he will be able to earn a fortune and thus earn the favor of his beloved father. Don Quixote, whose mission is to save the world, obviously wants to help them. Especially since he sees in Kitri his beloved, dream Dulcynea...

Ballet has a lot of humor in it, and the adventures of the heroes become the impetus for presenting signature solo variations, duets and group dances. This applies both to the presentation in gypsy type dances and Spanish dances such as fantango, seguidilla or bolero. At the same time, we have a fully presented classical dance with the highest level of technique.
