The Dopamine Club

The Dopamine Club with Anders Morgenthaler and Roald Bergmann comes to Bremen Theater with BANGEBUKS — a hilarious and educational show about everything we want — and everything that stops us.

Why haven't you opened that cafe, started that band, made that short film or booked that adventure you've been dreaming of for years? It's because you're scared -- and often for good reason.

If you feel trapped in the grind, liver poop and daily operations, you're definitely not the only one. Roald & Anders makes a living throwing themselves into new ideas, projects and crazy inventions. Yet they are full of doubts, worries and “what-now-ifs.” For the fear of failure, the opinions of others, money and bondage consequences do not disappear just because you have grown up.

With humor, self-irony and concrete stories, their new show Pills BANGEBUKS! the fear descends to eye level and makes it both recognizable and laughable. And maybe you'll end up taking off your panty pants yourself, stepping out of the hamster wheel, and finally plunging into the big things that lie ahead.

If you are familiar with Anders Morgenthaler's stripes, satire, cartoons or debates, you know that it will be an evening of absurd observations, uncompromisingness and thoughts that can provoke — and make you cry with laughter.

If you're familiar with Roald Bergmann's TV shows, art, books or festivals, you know that it will be personal, subtle and innovative — like a confetti horn of creativity.

And if you know the two men's podcast community, the DOPAMINE CLUB, you know full well that there will be speed across the field, spanking for the skittling and stupid props. Based on Denmark's funniest ADHD community, this evening will be anything but boring.
