DR Girls' Choir
Choral music and church rooms belong together. For centuries composers have created music for singing voices, which has been a natural setting in the church's iconic architecture — and today the church room is still the optimal setting for many different types of choral music.
DR Pigekorets spring concert is a special opportunity to experience DR Pigekorets 50 young singers in Holmens Kirke, where words, voices and tones reach all corners of the church room. Here you can become one with the space and the music and get close to the singers.
On the occasion of spring, the choir dazzles up for a powerful vocal explosion with young, vocal brawn and strong newly written works, with the light and spring springing out of the darkness of winter.
