Dracula

When a young lawyer, Jonathan Harker, arrives in Transylvania to finalize Count Dracula's purchase of a bleak London estate, he makes a series of horrifying discoveries that pay for a serious illness. A little later, strange events take place in England: in a facility for the insane, a patient waits for the arrival of the Master, an unmanned ship crashes in Whitby harbor, a young woman loses her strength and soon dies, the children disappear from their homes for the night, and when they are found, they have traces of strange pricks on their necks. Bram Stoker's famous novel about a vampire-aristocrat has seen numerous film and theater adaptations. Jakub Lubowicz — composer and Jakub Szydłowski — librettist propose a new take on the famous history.
