With DREAMWORKS THE FORGOTTEN ISLAND, the studio is now telling a new story about two girlfriends who risk everything to avoid losing themselves forever.

When the two best friends Jo and Raissa are stranded on the mysterious island of Nakali, they realize that the journey home requires a lifetime of memories — perhaps also of the person who means the most to them.

The exceptional Grammy and Oscar® winning artist H.E.R. and Liza Soberano (Lisa Frankenstein, Alone with You) shine in the lead roles as Jo and Raissa. The two high school graduates have been inseparable friends since childhood. But now they are at the beginning of completely different lives.

On their last night together, Jo and Raissa discover a mysterious portal that takes them to the mysterious island of Nakali. This fantastic place is home to magical and mythical beings that they have heard about as children in the stories of their Filipino families. Some of the beings encounter them as allies, others as dangerous enemies. Together with the good-natured but hopelessly clumsy weredog Raww (originally Dave Franco) and a small yet determined group of new companions, Jo and Raissa must face the dreaded Manananggal, originally voiced by the Tony Award-winning icon Lea Salonga.

When they realize that the price of their return is the memories of their entire friendship, a desperate race begins for Jo and Raissa: They must leave the island before they forget each other forever.
