Drop-in: Shards bring luck

Restoring archaeological ceramic finds is part of everyday work at PETRI. In the drop-in workshop, you can try your hand at assembling and gluing (today's) everyday ceramics. You get the shards from us: the more, the harder, choose your level yourself! Once your vessel is reassembled, you can trace the fault lines in color. In this way, damage becomes something beautiful and mass-produced goods become an unmistakable, personal piece.

Alternatively, you can also smash your own porcelain: bring a white container that can break or that is already broken, and make a piece of decoration out of it.

This offer is aimed at all visitors aged 8 and over. You can find it on the 5th floor of PETRI. Just drop by, you can get started up to 45 minutes before the end.

Costs are included in the admission price, we welcome donations for material costs.
