DUB GUN

Venue: Warsaw, Club Hydrozagadka

The band Dub Pistols is the fruit of the explosion of the electronic music sub-genre - big beat, which shook the British music scene in the mid-90s. Following the example of such representatives of the current as The Chemical Brothers, Fatboy Slim or The Prodigy, the mastermind of the formation Barry Ashworth began producing beats together with Jason O'Bryan, and the first results of these actions were the single “There's Gonna Be a Riot” and “Best Got Better”, which were then featured on the 1998 debut album “Point Black”. Their music, which combines ska, electronica, reggae, hip-hop and dub, quickly gained a lot of interest, which translated into concerts with names such as Limp Bizkit, Korn or Blink 182.

Over nearly 30 years of their career, the Dub Pistols have released 9 studio albums, their tracks not only hit the charts, but also film soundtracks (Blade II, Pirania 3D) and video games (Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2, Mat Hoffman's Pro BMX 2, NBA Live 08 and FIFA 99). This year, the band will prove once again that they do not even think about rest - they plan to release their tenth album and many concerts. Do you need a boost of positive energy? The Dub Pistols concert will definitely deliver it to you!
