Spiritual journey or tourist attraction? | Esotourism

A journey can be a search for a spiritual experience, an attempt to know yourself, or an escape from everyday life. Mateusz Marczewski will talk about places and practices that attract people looking for alternative forms of spirituality — from pilgrimages to ayahuaska-related expeditions. We will consider where the authentic experience ends and its tourist version begins.
