Diplomas — Wrocław School of Photography 2026 at Galeria Nowy Pafawag

Seventeen persons, one medium and seventeen distinct ways of seeing. We invite you to another exhibition at the Nowy Pafawag Gallery — this time we are giving the gallery space to the graduates and graduates of the two-year study of the Wrocław School of Photography.

The diploma exhibition is a meeting of different experiences, sensibilities and stages of life, which are united by photography treated not only as a means of recording reality, but above all as a language of author's expression. The diversity of views becomes the basis of the exposition here — a young, uncompromising perspective meets mature reflection, and metrics give way to individuality and conscious creative decisions.

The presented projects show a wide spectrum of contemporary photography. Among them we will find reportage, documentary and sociological photography, carefully looking at reality and social relations, but also intimate studies of man, portraits and realizations using photography as a tool to tell about emotions, memory and personal experience.

This exhibition does not attempt to bring seventeen voices into one common narrative. On the contrary, its strength remains the polyvoice, which allows you to see how flexible a medium photography is and how different meanings it can build depending on the person behind the camera. He can observe the outside world, look at the social, but just as well point the lens inward and touch the personal and difficult to name unequivocally.
