Stage: Big Stage
Two evenings with a legend — Jam will play on December 4 and 5 at the Barn Club!
The concerts of the legendary formation Dżem in the Stodoła Club are already a real tradition. It will be no different this autumn too! Pioneers of Polish blues-rock will perform in Stodola on December 4 and 5, 2026. Tickets for Warsaw concerts of Dżemu have just gone on sale!
Although musical Poland met Dżem at the beginning of the 80s, and the first biographies of the band consider this time to be its official beginning, in fact the roots of the group go much, much further, until 1973.
The group's first studio album was released in October 1985. It was the cult “Brick” today, from which the legendary songs “Red as a Brick” and “Whiskey” come from. These compositions are fixed points of the band's setlist, which pleases the numerous audience every time. The album” Cegła” is today considered one of the most important albums in the history of Polish rock.
Experiencing tragedies — the death of Rysek Riedel and then Paweł Berger — the musicians were able to pick themselves up and return to playing, even stronger and more experienced. This can be evidenced by decades of presence on the stage, a huge crowd of fans and songs, without which it is difficult to imagine the history of Polish music. All this made Dżem one of the most important Polish blues-rock bands.
The group boasts a rich discography including many studio albums, performances on the stages of most Polish festivals and concerts in the role of support before such legends as The Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, ZZ Top, Lynyrd Skynyrd and AC/DC. In April 2018, during a concert at Tauron Arena Kraków, Metallica performed a cover of the legendary song “Time Machine”.
In April 2024, Dżem played a unique concert in Spodek Katowice to celebrate his 45th birthday, which was the first with Sebastian Riedel, son of Ryszard Riedel, in the role of the singer of the band.
The composition of the team:
Beno Otręba — bass guitar
Adam Otręba — guitar
