🍂 Grandfathers to children — Slavic art workshops 🌾
How did our Slavic ancestors remember those who left? What were the Grandfathers and what links them to the customs that we cultivate to this day? We invite children to an unusual journey through time, during which the story will meet with creative fun!
🏺 Living History Lesson
During an interactive story, supported by a multimedia presentation and a reconstruction show, participants will learn about ancient Slavic rites and beliefs. They will be able to take a close look at safe replicas of everyday objects from the early Middle Ages, learn what ancient feasts looked like and customs associated with the memory of ancestors. There will also be a conversation about the differences and similarities between Slavic Grandfathers and Halloween.
🎨 Slavic workshop — we make crabs!
In the second part of the meeting, the children will make their own kraboszki, that is, traditional masks representing ancestors. To decorate them, they will use natural, autumn treasures: colorful leaves, bark, twigs, seeds, mountain ash and linen cords. It will be creative, inspiring and very autumnal! 🍁
