We invite everyone - grandmothers, grandparents, parents, children and everyone who wants to spend this time with us - to embroider together on one long canvas. In the past, whole families and neighborhoods came together at such works, now we too will sit together to embroider the memory of someone who is no longer with us. With a simple stitch, a cross, or maybe the way our grandmothers embroidered — it doesn't have to be pretty, it's important that it be from the heart. The elders can show the younger ones how to hold the needle and lead the thread; this is a good opportunity to pass on what they themselves once learned. And who has never embroidered, will get a simple instruction to start or just try their own way. It is not necessary to say anything out loud - you can just sit at the table and embroider in peace. And you can also, with a needle and thread, share the memory of a grandmother, grandfather or other close person. From individual stitches, a single, common fabric will be created - a souvenir woven with many hands, embroidered archive of memories. You can bring a picture or a small object related to the memory — if someone wants to be inspired by it (optional). If someone has a tambourine — we will ask you to take it, but it is not necessary. Attention! The last hour of the meeting will take place simultaneously with the concert of the Brassowianka.
