“GRANDFATHERS — FESTIVAL OF PASSAGE” “THREAD OF TRADITION”/CONCERT OF THE BRASSOVIAN DUET

25 OCTOBER (SUNDAY) “GRANDPARENTS — FESTIVAL OF TRANSITION” AT 17:00 “THREAD OF TRADITION”/CONCERT OF THE BRASSOVIAN DUO

The “Thread of Tradition” concert is a meeting of music and handicrafts, during which we create a space referring to the atmosphere of a former country cottage. In the center of the event, an embroidered tablecloth is created - a symbol of memory, community and the transmission of traditions from generation to generation. Each stitch is like another note, and each song is intertwined with the thread of history. Brassowianki are a duo of professional instrumentalists — trumpeters and horn players, who not only play, but also sing. Using a looper, they create multi-layered, mesmerizing arrangements, giving Polish folk songs a completely new sound. This is a concert where tradition meets modernity — full of emotions, space and sounds built live. “The Thread of Tradition” invites you to experience music together and discover that folk heritage can also delight in its contemporary version.

Admission is free. Place: House of Science and Art/ Willa Frankówka.
