Performative Activities/Sculptures in motion!

family performance workshops in the Sculpture Park in Królikarnia

Performative workshops among sculptures are not an ordinary sightseeing tour. We will listen and watch, but also experience sculptures in a different way — through play, movement, imagination and sound. We will stop at selected works that will become for us an inspiration for short performative activities. Together we will examine how the body can imitate shapes, and sound — emphasize their character.

Each workshop will be led by an educator, performer and improvisational musicians, who will invite participants to act freely — without evaluation and without the need for prior preparation. What matters is curiosity, openness and being together in the here and now. At each meeting, the protagonists will be the other sculptures exhibited in the park.

Deadline: Saturday, August 8, 11 a.m.

Duration: approx. 45 minutes
Meeting point: collection in front of the Palace in Królikarnia, ul. Puławska 113a, Warsaw — at the entrance to the Królikarnia

For whom: children 5—12 years old with guardians
Rules of participation: tickets included: 25 zł child, 25 zł guardian, 10 zł another child, available at the box office and online two weeks before the event/number of places limited/in case of difficult weather conditions the event will take place inside the palace in Królikarnia/workshop ticket authorizes entry to the exhibition “Sculpture on the furniture wall” on the day of the event
