Children of Bullerbyn

“Children of Bullerbyn” — an adventure throughout the year

Imagine a childhood full of fun, when every day brings something new. With siblings, friends, dog and cat, in the haystack or in the garden, whatever the weather... The adventures of the heroes of “Children of Bullerbyn” is a journey through the four seasons, in which every moment becomes a celebration of everyday life.

Based on the beloved novel by Astrid Lindgren, the play is a story about small but important moments — about friendship, challenges and discovering magic in the simplest things. On stage, the world of children's imagination comes to life, reminding viewers of all ages that the inner child is in each of us.

Agnieszka Glińska, an acclaimed theater and film director, who has been awarded many times for her original approach to literary adaptation, gives the play a unique character. Her sensitivity to detail and deep understanding of Astrid Lindgren's lyrics make every moment on stage delight not only the youngest, but also adult viewers.

ATTENTION! The performance is enriched with dynamic music, which also appears during the break between acts.

In short: childhood, humor, pedagogy of closeness, through play for reflection, school reading, book bestseller
