Children of Bullerbyn

The play “Children of Bullerbyn” is a warm theatrical journey into a world where everyday life becomes an adventure and community is the greatest treasure. The play is inspired by the classics of children's literature by Astrid Lindgren.

This is the story of six friends living in three neighboring homesteads. Their world is filled with simple but magical rituals: sleeping on hay, searching for treasures, fishing for crayfish and celebrating Christmas together, which smells of ginger and a freshly cut Christmas tree. And the biggest challenges are how to tame a “terrible” shoemaker, or how to smuggle a note into a neighboring house.

The show reminds of the times when a piece of string was enough for happiness, a faithful dog and a friend behind the wall. It is an ideal spectacle for whole families: it will evoke memories of a time when every day held infinite possibilities, and allow children to feel safe and follow with joy the adventures of ingenious and mischievous characters.

At the same time, Bullerbyn is a place where deep relationships and faithful friendships are built amid everyday challenges and emotions. Fun becomes the language of understanding, and creativity the key to discovering the world.

We invite you to a joint trip to Bullerbyn, full of joy, fun and emotions.

The show is recommended for viewers from the age of 7.
