“Children of Bullerbyn” is an excellent novel by Astrid Lindgren, loved by subsequent generations, enjoying unwavering success and sympathy from both children and parents. It consists of charming stories of the little inhabitants of the Swedish village of Bullerbyn. Astrid Lindgren, who retained the joy and curiosity of the child until the end of her life, described her childhood in the novel, and the places described in the book find their patterns in the author's home village. For children, the play is an inspiration to launch ingenuity and creativity in defiance of the all-encompassing literalism. Adults, on the other hand, remember the times when the stick could be the engine, the bucket - the cannon, the quilt - the base, and the mud and gold.
