The touring festival, which was created and developed exclusively as a result of grassroots initiatives, in 2026 will visit more than forty towns throughout Poland — including Tarnowskie Góry. The partners of the Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights — co-organizers of the touring festival in individual cities — select films from the repertoire of the last edition of the Warsaw IFF WATCH DOCS.

The protagonist of the film Weronika Mličewska was born in Vietnam during the war as the son of a Vietnamese woman and an American soldier. After the defeat of the US Army, people like him ran out of place in the new communist society. “Children of dust” - as they were usually called - deprived of rights and families, were doomed to vegetate on the margins of society. Throughout his life, Sang was treated in Vietnam as a second-class citizen — without documents, education or prospects. An unexpected chance from fate, however, can completely change his life. He has to “just” break with his previous life and start a new one - thousands of kilometers away. The project, carried out over the years, allowed the creators to build a real, close bond with the hero and his family, and create a documentary full of emotions and emotions. The excellent photographs of Mikael Lypinski make it possible for us to better understand a man faced with a merciless choice.
