Addressees Teachers and educators of various subjects, educators and school psychologists.

Objectives of the conference

■ broaden teachers' knowledge of industrial heritage and its importance in education, ■ develop competence in the use of industrial heritage as an educational space and inspire interdisciplinary and project activities with students, ■ present methods of involving local communities in the process of education and interpretation of heritage, ■ create a space for the exchange of experiences and good practices between the educational environment museum and regional.

Speakers Dr. Mateusz Drozdowski — Assistant Professor at the Department of Modern History of the Institute of History and Archivistics of the University of the National Education Commission in Krakow, Deputy Director of the Institute for Didactic Affairs. Graduate of international relations and history at the Jagiellonian University, long-time tour pilot and guide in Krakow and the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum. He teaches courses in history, historical tourism, museology and cultural heritage.

dr Beata Piecha-van Schagen — graduate of the Faculty of Philology of the University of Silesia, PhD in humanities in the field of history. He works at the Upper Silesian Museum in Bytom. Director and participant of national and international research projects dedicated to the industrial heritage and identity of Upper Silesia.

dr Marta Filipowicz — doctor of humanities in the field of pedagogy, assistant professor at Korczak University — Academy of Applied Sciences in Katowice. Her area of research includes the philosophy of education, work by the workshop method and practical aspects of the ethics of the teaching profession.
