Father Jan Kaczkowski's Children's Day

This movie is a complement to Johnny's film.

FATHER JAN KACZKOWSKI'S CHILDREN'S DAY IS AN INTIMATE DOCUMENTARY ABOUT ONE OF THE MOST CHARISMATIC PRIESTS. THE FILM, BASED LARGELY ON PREVIOUSLY UNPUBLISHED ARCHIVAL MATERIAL, SHOWS HIS LIFE, RELATIONSHIPS WITH LOVED ONES, HIS STRUGGLE WITH ILLNESS AND HIS PATH TO THE PRIESTHOOD.

Father Jan Kaczkowski - charismatic clergyman and ordinary wandering man. Marked by an incurable disease, a self-proclaimed “oncocelebrity” who fought for others for dignity and humanity. Children's Day - diagnosis of the disease, childhood memories, symbolic birth for eternity. A metaphorical term that focuses attention on love in the film. For love for other people, sick and lost, for love for the family, for the father and for God. It is also a film about the need to love and be loved. Constructed from unknown archives, a true portrait of an extraordinary man.
