On Saturday, October 17th on our spherical screen we will present the most interesting screenings created by Polish planetariums and production studio Creative Planet.
On this day, we completely change the program — we create blocks of screenings, so that for the price of one ticket our guests will be able to watch several shows. Session block I starts at 11.00 and ends at 12.15. Check out the session descriptions!
Session block I: 11.00 - 12.15 The first block is the ceremonial opening of the Planetarium Day and two sessions - “Music of the Spheres” and “Clues in the Sky” presented by the Planetarium in Toruń.
Music of the Spheres Planetarium - Silesian Science Park
DESCRIPTION: This short form of meaning is a captivating tale of the human quest for beauty and order in the cosmos — from the ancient Pythagorean idea of the harmony of spheres, to the revolutionary mathematical discoveries of Johannes Kepler, to modern science that, thanks to the sonification of data, allows us to literally hear the song of the universe.
Tips in the sky Planetarium in Toruń
DESCRIPTION: Since the dawn of time, human life has been inscribed in the natural cycle of changes in nature. Man observed the daily succession of day and night, the seasonal changes of the seasons, the phases of the Moon or the rhythm of life of plants and animals. Do any of us today observe the sky to determine and determine the time? After all, we have watches, calendars and applications from it. Unfortunately, this ease of determining time has distanced us from its essence and connection to the Cosmos. Maybe it's worth going back to watching the sky? Let's look for clues among the stars and constellations to better understand the rhythm and time that the sky sets for us.
