Planetarium Day - Session Block II

On Saturday, October 17th on our spherical screen we will present the most interesting screenings created by Polish planetariums and production studio Creative Planet.

On this day, we completely change the program — we create blocks of screenings, so that for the price of one ticket our guests will be able to watch several shows. Session Block II starts at 12.45 and ends at 14.00. Check out the session descriptions!

Screening: “Traces of Time” Planetarium - Silesian Science Park

Description: This short form of seance tells about the cosmic origin of life and the indissoluble connection of man with the universe Seans introduces the ideal mood for a further story about time and a deeper reflection on its passage.

Show: “Time” (45 min) Creative Planet

Description: “TIME” is a spectacular fulldome popular science film that takes viewers on an immersive journey through history, philosophy and physics. The show explains the mysteries of time in an accessible way - from ancient calendars to Albert Einstein's Theory of Relativity. Dynamic 8K visualizations allow you to intuitively understand complex phenomena such as time dilation or the cosmic past recorded in the stars. This is an unusual show realized by the Polish studio Creative Planet, ideal for older children, families and adults.

Screening: “Tales of the Night Sky: China and Japan” (29 min) Planetarium Venus - Green Mountain

Description: The show presents traditional ideas related to the starry sky and astronomy in the cultures of China and Japan. It shows how different stories are hidden among the stars from those known to us Europeans.
