Planetarium Day - Session Block III

On Saturday, October 25th on our spherical screen we will present the most interesting screenings created by Polish planetariums and production studio Creative Planet.

On this day, we completely change the program — we create blocks of screenings, so that for the price of one ticket our guests will be able to watch several shows. The screening block III starts at 15.30 and ends at 16.30 and will be presented with foreign screenings provided to us by the Polish distributor and producer of films - Creative Planet. Kiru and the Mystery of the Lost Moon Render Area - Spain

DESCRIPTION: That night the moon disappeared from the sky. Everything is enveloped in darkness, and SPARKY, a tiny glowing firefly who is afraid of the dark, runs away to hide. Fortunately, her friend KIRU, a curious world and good-natured adventurer, encourages her to discover what happened to the missing Moon. Together they embark on a magical journey through space, where asteroids, planets and stars come to life, leading them to discover the fascinating history of the Moon and its phases, while also facing one of the most universal feelings of childhood: the fear of the dark.

The production is distinguished by an excellent, economical graphic development. Calm shots and excellent unhurried dialogues adapted for children, but also attractive for an adult viewer. Gentle humorous touches understood by children and adults. The film introduces astronomical knowledge, concerning the Moon, the mechanics of the sky. Unanimous audience favorite at FFB 2026.

Edge of the sky (SHOW IN ENGLISH) Planetarium Brno - Czech Republic

Description: A pilot, an astronomer and a little girl — three people with three perspectives of looking at the sky. Their stories meet in a full dome that surrounds you with 360° images. You can feel as if you are flying among storm clouds or floating in the silence and tranquility of the stratosphere. And this will not be an illusion: the filmmakers flew gliders over the Tatras and dragged cameras through the wild winds of Patagonia. You will also visit the driest place on the planet, where clouds are a rare phenomenon and subject of scientific research. And when you think you can't get any higher, you will ascend to a height of 35 km above the Earth — to the edge of the sky.

An excellent movie for sky lovers not only at night. Ideal for school groups. It presents in a very attractive way the processes behind weather phenomena, the structure of the atmosphere, the formation of clouds and other issues of the program base in geography. It also introduces with a slight thrill to the world of high glider flights and extreme atmospheric phenomena.
