Before the invention of the camera, artists were looking for a way to show in their works the most faithfully what they saw in reality. Now, when a single click allows us to capture any image in the world, showing something that would not have the right to happen beyond imagination is especially tempting.
We will start the October “Family Day” with a visit to the exhibition Light of Gdynia Photographs of Bolesława and Edmund Zdanowski 1945-1970, where among the beautiful views of Gdynia we will find an interesting corner and a hidden photomontage in it.
Then, in the group of photographers aged 6-12 with tutors, we will try our hand at reworking the photos by hand, creating collages telling untold stories. Everything, as befits real works, we will frame and hang on the walls in the comfort of home.
