Senior's Day

The Head of the Czerwonak Commune Marcin Wojtkowiak and the Community Cultural Centre Sokół invite you to the Senior's Day, which will take place on October 16 at 18.00 at the Culture and Recreation Center in Koziegłowy.

As part of the event, we will present works from the operetta Princess Chardash. This is the most famous operetta, which was created 110 years ago, and to this day it delights, entertains and enjoys unfailing success and a huge circle of its sympathizers and admirers. This famous work by Imre Kalman will be able to be seen and heard performed by excellent young artists of Polish scenes.

This operetta is Kalman's greatest work and is one of the most outstanding musical achievements of the early 20th century. At all times, he inspires admiration for the composer's melodic inventiveness and his unique ability to combine the musical themes of Viennese salons with Hungarian rhythms full of energy j with a unique melancholy that arouses admiration and prompts reflection and a sense of communion with beauty. Kalman skillfully creates spectacular scenes that blend perfectly with the action of the plot. Famous and beloved hits such as “Artists from Variette” or “To the rhythm of a fighter, the heart sings”, will transport us to the world of the pre-war era, full of dancers, nightlife, carefree, joy and love.

Tickets priced at PLN 30.00 can be purchased at GOK Sokół headquarters in Czerwonak and Koziegłowy from 14 September.

Please note — the event is dedicated to seniors, so the price takes into account the applicable discounts.

After 28 September there will be an open ticket sale for all interested spectators at a regular price of PLN 50.00.
