The appearance in one of the world-famous museums of Johannes Vermeer's Girl with a Pearl always attracts crowds of visitors to the exhibition. In Japan, more than a million people appeared on it. However, the picture remains shrouded in mystery all the time. Thanks to the report “Exhibition on screen” we can take a close look at it and look for answers to the most disturbing questions related to the work and its creator. Who was the girl Vermeer painted? Why did she pose to the master and what painting technique did he adopt? For what reason is the picture surrounded by such great reverence and admiration? After the world tour, The Girl with the Pearl returns to her native Hague, to the Mauritshuis Museum, which has been renovated for many years. Starting with a walk through the renovated museum, we proceed to discover the secrets of Vermeer's painting, which are also associated with other works of Mauritshuis.

“Exhibition on Screen” is a presentation of the collections of the most outstanding artists of painting from the most important museums around the world. On the big screen, in excellent HD picture quality, thematic exhibitions are shown, captured in a special way, adapted to cinematic conditions. Masterpieces of painting, sculpture and graphics will be shown on the cinema screen from different perspectives, and the tour of the gallery and museum halls will be accompanied by stories of works, biographies of artists, statements of experts analyzing the style and technique of paintings.
