Shortly before the 1973 Chilean coup, CIA agents Chris and Lee are sent from Santiago to Easter Island by their boss, MJ. In the shadow of the island's famous statues, longtime partners must confront a dark past and conspiracies that are beginning to come to light. Meanwhile, Chris' new bond with two rebellious students threatens to throw everyone's stay in this remote paradise out of control.
