Wild swans

The play is based on the themes of the novel written by Hans Christian Andersen. As always with the great master, good will fight evil, magic will change the world, and history will remain in our hearts for a long time.

Somewhere, in a distant court, the queen dies. Immediately, the ruler of another kingdom appears, who takes power over the court. He turns eleven princes into wild swans, and sends the only princess to the countryside, to the periphery of the kingdom. Princess Eliza must get rid of her courtly habits in order to uncharm her brothers and free her state from the hands of the evil queen.

Wild Swans is a timeless tale of love, thanks to which we can afford a great sacrifice. The play was directed by Arkadiusz Klucznik, known to our audience from Girls from Tea Fields and Please the Elephant. The author of the scenography is Piotr Tetlak, the costumes were designed by Elżbieta Terlikowska, and the choreography was prepared by Marta Bury.
