Born in London and raised in Izmir, EDIS has over 3m monthly listeners on Spotify and is one of the best-loved figures in Turkish and Swana pop. His 2018 debut album Ân secured him a spot on the Worldwide Top 100 Best-Selling Artists on iTunes, and the 2021 single Martılar became one of the most streamed Turkish songs of the year on Spotify.
In August 2025, his second studio album Bachi-Bouzouk was released, and before the upcoming European tour, his first release with partially English-language songs is expected. Throughout his career, EDIS has received a number of prestigious awards, including Best Outstanding Artist, Best Song, Record of the Year and Best Male Artist at notable awards shows such as GQ Men of the Year, among others.
EDIS concerts are known for a high level of production, and for creating a very special atmosphere that feels as much like a community as a concert. He's filled arenas across generations all over Turkey, and now he's ready to take on Studio 2 with its ambitious pop music and great cultural depth.

The Turkish pop comedy EDIS is coming to Denmark and giving a concert in Studie 2, as part of its first ever European tour. The timing of this European tour is no coincidence - it comes just as non-English-language music is experiencing a cultural momentum.
