Edith Geppert

Edith Geppert is known for the fact that she builds her repertoire with great care. Her precisely directed recitals are a rare opportunity to hear the real gems of Polish literary song.

Among the authors of the texts we find: Magda Czapińska, Agnieszka Osiecka, Jacek Cygan, Marek Dagnan, Jerzy Ficowski, Jonasz Kofta, Wojciech Młynarski, Andrzej Poniedzielski, Jan Kazimierz Siwek, and among the composers: Henryk Alber, Włodzimierz Korcz, Seweryn Krajewyn Andrzej Rybinski.

Edyta Geppert's recital is an interpretive artistry and an extraordinary ability to build sharply contrasted moods: lyrical songs collide with dramatic ones, and dramatic ones with funny and even cabaret songs — the latter with lyrics by a classic of the genre — Marian Hemar. Finally, it is an extraordinary opportunity to experience the emotions that only a few artists endowed with real charisma can provide to the audience.

We invite you to a recital according to the script and direction of Piotr Loretz.
