Eivør conjures up the winter darkness in VEGA

In an atmospheric, dark universe inspired by Nordic folk music, Eivør combines her breathtaking vocals with atmospheric soundscapes and raw, pure folk-rock intensity.

With his 11 albums in the discography, the Faroese singer has seriously cemented his name as one of the Nordic region's most distinctive voices in the fusion of ancient song traditions and a modern sound universe.

And now she is back with a new release in the form of the single “Healer”, which has just been released.

Eivør's latest album, ENN (2024), particularly excited GAFFA, who in their six-star review praised the singer to the clouds with sparkling lines such as: “Faroese Eivør is one of the Nordic region's very greatest singer-songwriters pt. For not only is she an epic songwriter by the grace of God, she is also a singer and performer with a quite unusual strength and span. An almost divine capacity.”

Eivør has achieved great acclaim for his musical work. Among other things, in 2021 she received the Nordic Council Music Prize for her unique artistic voice and contribution to contemporary music. The last time Eivør stood on the same stage, Poplish reviewed the concert under the headline:

“Eivør's voice floated through VEGA, creating an emotional journey.”

The audience can therefore look forward to an evening where age-old song traditions twist into a contemporary and expansive soundscape.
