EKOrelations with Jacek Karczewski

The guest in the series EKOrelations will be Jacek Karczewski: a naturalist, activist and promoter of nature, who has a passion for birds.

13.10, 18.00 Main Library, Szafranka 7

Together with him, we will consider what the relationship between birds and people has been like over the centuries. How do birds mate, what does their courtship look like, how do they raise children, how do they form communities? How are bird interspecies relationships arranged? What amazes us, delights, terrifies us in these bird relationships? There will also be conversations about our guest's books such as “Her Majesty the Goose” or “Night of the Owls. A story from the forest.” The conversation will be moderated by Elizabeth Janota.
