We invite you to experiment with sound together — without prejudice, with openness to chance and the effect of the experiment itself. You do not need to be a musician, artist/sound artist to attend the event. Everyone is welcome, regardless of musical level. Three zones await the workshop participants: an electroacoustic experiment zone, an electronic zone containing modular, semi-modular devices, grooveboxes and synthesizers, and a virtual zone, i.e. activities using professional libraries of virtual instruments (including orchestral).
The program is designed in such a way that every person, regardless of whether he has acquired the ability to play an instrument, can participate in classes unhindered and creatively, feel at ease and find his rhythm in creative work with available objects. During the workshops there is a warm, open atmosphere, which makes their participants often participate in subsequent editions.
Workshop series of meetings Experiment! was created from the need to share with creative people the experience and approach to creating music. In addition to the practical aspect (e.g. open jam session), classes bring additional value in the form of social conversations, exchange of ideas or experiences. They fill a niche among educational and music programs designed for people interested in creating electronic, electroacoustic and experimental music that eludes tonal schemes and thinking about music in a classical way.
The classes will be led by Jędrzej Siwek — sound artist, composer, educator, creator of contemporary, electronic and electroacoustic music.
The workshop is designed for people from 18 years of age.
The fee for participation in the workshop is PLN 80 per person. The number of places is limited.
Classes will last 2.5 hours.
