Venue: Rangfoyer - The person's name is the most personal theatre text by Elfriede Jelinek to date. Never before has the Nobel Prize winner spoken so indiscriminately about writing, her family and her “career path.” Now this life is heading for its 80th birthday - and DT is playing the (say and write) 50th presentation of the successful production just in time for the celebration.
According to the person, the Nestroy Theatre Prize was awarded the Nestroy Theatre Prize as the best German-language theatre production; Fritzi Haberlandt won the Faust Prize in the Acting category for this production. The evening was shown in Austria, Switzerland and at many German-language festivals - and is now back in Berlin! On our birthday, we welcome: From 18:00 our Jelinek double Heiner Bomhardt on the piano, from 6:30pm the director Jossi Wieler for a lively introductory talk and you all as well-wishers. Elfriede is turning 80! Long live she!
