Embracing The Root

Music and puppet theatre about stress, breakdown and transformation.

Embracing the Root invites you into a magical world where trees, roots and puppets are the main actors in a sensuous music-dramatic fantasy of coherence and community.

A successful brain researcher collapses from stress in the middle of an ambitious project investigating parallels between the stress state of climate and the human brain. In the face of his collapse, the scientist achieves new realizations that break down barriers surrounding the scientist's growing inner numbness. This sends the scientist on a journey that unravels time and place and leads us into a prehistoric forest.
