An enchanting and magical Christmas adventure

About the event

Guest Games/Age: 5-11 years/Sold Out

A marvelous and alluring Christmas adventure begins when sisters Maja and Babette must set off to find help for their birth mother. Snow begins to fall and the children lose orientation and get lost in the dark. They suddenly find themselves in an alien universe where both magic and challenges unfold. Under the sparkling starry sky, the magical Christmas ball is full of surprises and secrets. Now the question is: Will Maja and Babette get there in time?

ANGELS IN THE SNOW is a wonderful, beautiful, close and touching Christmas tale. Here the world is white as angel wings, but also dark as the black night. ANGELS IN THE SNOW is a small, fine tale of something bigger than just you and me. In an enchanting scenography, cello music is performed live, all while we follow Maja and Babette in this poetic story.

After the performance, the Artistic Laboratory will open, prepared in collaboration with Michael Hansen, workshop leader at Statens Museum for Kunst. In the artistic laboratory, children and adults can explore the themes of the performance through creative play that gives the children and their adults time and space for the performance to store up and last long after the carpet falls. Artistic Laboratory is included in the ticket.

ANGELS IN THE SNOW is not recommended for children under 5 years of age.
