The play does not reconstruct the biography of the prophet or historical events. It focuses on

mechanisms of faith, collective exhilaration, disappointment, and mourning

An unfulfilled promise. “The End of the World” appears here not as a sudden catastrophe, but

as a slow, incessant process—written in memory, loss, and unfulfilled hope.
