Stanisław Soyka was one of the most characteristic voices on the Polish music scene. A year after his death, the Male Playing festival tour, paid tribute to this exceptional artist in three moving concerts. However, this is not the end. The continuation of the project under the name Epitafium for Stanisław Soyka will sound in five of the best concert halls. Natalia Przybysz and Smolik are still responsible for the preparation of the project. As guests on the tour we will hear Anna Maria Jopek, Paulina Przybysz, Grażyna Łobaszewska, Adam Nowak and Nina Sojka. The musical epitaph for Stanisław Soyka can be heard in Katowice, Gdańsk, Poznań, Bielsko Biała and Warsaw.

About the event

Stanisław Soyka bravely combined elements of jazz, soul, pop and sung poetry in his work. His work was distinguished by emotional interpretation and exceptional sensitivity, thanks to which he gained the reputation of one of the most outstanding interpreters of Polish song. In the course of his more than forty years of career, he has created many well-known works, including

“Tolerance” or “The Miracle of Forgetfulness” and collaborated with many artists of the Polish music scene. The Epitaphium tour for Stanisław Soyka will recall the most famous works of the Artist, but also surprises with the selection of repertoire, which Stanisław Soyka used to reach for concerts — also in duets with Polish and foreign Artists.

“Just as it is not easy to say goodbye to Stanisław Soyka, it is impossible to let go and stop singing “Tolerance”, “The miracle of oblivion” or “Let my eyes kiss you” — adds Natalia Przybysz, who decided to share the stage in the project with Smolik. “At the concerts you will be able to hear organs, which, as Natalia Przybysz described, symbolize the immanent value that Polish music has gained thanks to Soyka.”
