About the event

Warsaw, 1990s The Sejm works day and night — though not always on laws.

She enters the stage — Anastasia P., journalist from “Le Figaro”. Or at least that's what he claims. In Paris, no one has heard of it, but in the Polish Sejm the doors open to it faster than laws pass through committees.

The show, inspired by the most famous “memoir of the Third Republic”, is a daring, brazen ride through the corridors of power — a place where immunity seems to work more broadly than the constitution, and daytime deliberations increasingly give way to the night shift.

Who with whom, where and why so willingly “after hours”?

“Erotic Immunities” is a comedy of manners with a distinct satirical character — a spectacle that entertains but also encourages reflection on the realities of the early 1990s, when a new social and political reality was just taking shape and the word “freedom” had more than one meaning.

“The Diary of Anastasia P.” is a story that electrified public opinion — arousing controversy, fascination and questions about the limits of freedom and responsibility.

One of the most interesting creative duos in Polish theatre — playwright Jolanta Janiczak and director Wiktor Rubin — is responsible for the idea and realization of the play. In 2024 they staged a play in Olsztyn “Don't be sad. I will always be with you.”
