Eruption

It's a hot Warsaw summer. Bethany (Charli xcx) comes to Poland for a romantic getaway with her boyfriend. When he meets Nel (Lena Góra), a friend from years ago, an unspoken chemistry erupts between them. A longing for carefree carefree leads them through the streets of the sun-drenched city—as far away as possible from where they will have to make decisions that weigh on the rest of their adult lives.

“Eruption” is an intimate and crazy story about an encounter that changes everything, and at the same time a cinematic love letter to Poland. Director Pete Ohs portrays Warsaw as a city of creative energy and freedom. The role of Bethany stars world star Charli xcx, who brings her characteristic sensibility and on-screen charisma to the film. She is partnered by Lena Góra — one of the most important actresses of the young generation, co-creator of the project and the emotional heart of “Eruption”.
