A few people are celebrating their goodbyes this evening because they are starting a new life in an AI-controlled virtual reality called “Prima Leben.” Everyone here has yet to get used to the fact that the metaverse has not become a paradise, but an eerily similar image of the old world — and is facing doom. How could that happen? What began to be more beautiful, more just and more peaceful is now reproducing the same old rules and atrocities?
