The rap phenomenon EsdeeKid gives big concert in Denmark

EsdeeKid has evolved from British underground to viral phenomenon in record time. The breakthrough came with the viral single “LV Sandals”, which was followed by debut album Rebel, sold-out concerts and a tour with Yung Lean.

There is something unpredictable about EsdeeKid. One minute he's gliding effortlessly across hazy, almost dreamy productions, the next he's exploding into heavy drill-beats with an intensity that feels close to uncontrolled. His distinctive Scouse dialect and constant switching between aggressive flows and psychedelic soundscapes have made him one of the most original names on the British rap scene.

The music moves effortlessly between UK drill, trap and cloud rap, where grimy synths, crooked loops and contrast-filled productions create a universe that feels raw, dark and hypnotic. Inspiration is drawn as much from the internet underground as from the classic UK drill scene, and the result is a term impossible to confuse with anyone else's.

On stage, EsdeeKid is anything but laid-back. His concerts are intense discharges of energy with heavy bass walks, moshpits, community shouts and an audience that is drawn along from the first beat. Following this year's Roskilde Festival, Soundvenue wrote that they “don't think anyone would say no to another tour of the EsdeeKids arena.”

On November 6, the audience will have the chance to take a tour of the arena when EsDeekid brings its breathtaking concert format to K.B. Hallen.
