Estrada Stage Pop Up #5: Sabatini | concert at Masztalarska 8a

You have no idea what to do in October in Poznań? We have an offer for you that cannot be rejected! We invite you to the first event as part of the recurring Estrada Stage Pop Up series. On October 22, Warsaw's Sabatini band will perform at 8a Masztalarska Street.

ROAD STAGE POP UP

is a series of concerts that go beyond the framework of one location, one genre and one time. As part of the project, we will hear bands representing a variety of musical currents: from alternative, through electronics, jazz and experiment, to guitar music and hybrid forms, defying simple definitions. Diversity is the most important definition of this project. Concerts take place in different spaces of the city — in familiar and less obvious places, indoors and outdoors. Each location becomes a temporary stage and each situation a unique context for a musical encounter. The project remains in dialogue with the city, its architecture, rhythm and everyday life.

LOCATION: MASTALARSKA 8A

SABATINI

Sabatini is a Warsaw band combining alternative folk, post rock, and music for films that have not yet been made. It was founded in the summer of 2024 on the initiative of Paweł Górski and Karol Strzemieczny. Its name is a tribute to the tennis player of the late 80s and 90s as well as the style prevailing in those decades. Their debut album “The End of the World” is a moving story of transformations, breakups, human dramas and eternal, immortal nature. The band draws inspiration from folk songs, shamanic rites, retro sci-fi or old series, filtering them through contemporary guitar and synthesizer sound. They sing in Polish, creating songs full of nostalgia, melancholy and space — without obvious choruses and without the use of traditional folk instruments. Paweł Górski, Karol Strzemeczny, Igor Nikiforov, Natalia Pikula, Julek Horodyski, and Nikodem Gąsowski will perform live. If you are interested in live music and want to discover how the local music scene is redefining the places we know, this concert is just for you.
