Eufonie 2026 | Nature of the world

As in oratory art, music is often pronounced as it were between sounds. Such voices can be found in the melodic and sparing works of Wałentyn Silvestrov (Intermezzo), Pēteris Vasks (Plainscapes) and Henryk Mikołaj Górecki (Lullabies and Dances, Op. 47).

In turn, the Conversio Erkki-Sven Tür and the Tempo di valse from György Ligeti's Musica ricercata are examples of a perverse approach to form. The new music — Up by Dariusz Przybylski and Aria Justė Janulytė — again focuses on sound itself. In addition, improvised intermezza will sound between these works.
