Evolution of Horror Presents: Sinners

This special screening is presented by the UK’s #1 horror and film history podcast, The Evolution of Horror, as part of the tour that's launching the new book 'The Evolution of Horror: A Terrifying Guide to Horror Movie History' by host and author Mike Muncer. The film will be preceded by a live Q&A and there will be a book signing afterwards.

Adapted from the acclaimed podcast and with a foreword by Reece Shearsmith, the book takes a deep dive into the history of cinema's darkest genre. Covering everything from silent films to modern masterpieces, Mike breaks down eight key horror subgenres - including vampires, slashers, zombies and ghost stories - to explore the tropes, motifs, historical context and psychology behind why certain stories scare us so much.

Stylishly illustrated throughout with stills, posters and stunning artworks by artist Mike Lee-Graham, this is a must-read guide to the eclectic, enthralling and deliciously macabre world of horror.

Trying to leave their troubled lives behind, twin brothers (Jordan) return to their hometown to start again, only to discover that an even greater evil is waiting to welcome them back.
