Polish alternative music has gained a new, extremely strong player. EWA KOC is a new formation created by five outstanding artists of the domestic scene: Błażej Król, Dawid Tyszkowski, Kamil Pater, Wawrzyniec Topa and Kuba Staruszkiewicz.
The design from the first sounds attracts attention with energy, confidence and freshness. EWA KOC combines modern, uncompromising aesthetics with the best recording traditions. Instruments are recorded “per hundred”, on tape, in the spirit of organic and lively playing. This approach, increasingly rare on the contemporary scene, gives the music authenticity, raw energy and unique character.
The debut single “Take Me Away” is a powerful, intense and uncompromising number, in which the expressive lyrics meet the powerful sound and musical maturity characteristic of all five. It is music that captivates from the first seconds — emotional, dynamic and full of character. In it you can hear both the experience of the artists and the courage to explore new musical forms.
EWA KOC is a complete project: thoughtful, modern and created for large stages. The debut single is the first announcement of the album, which will be released in the fall of 2026. If “Take Me Away” is a harbinger of what's to come, we can expect one of the most interesting premieres of the Polish alternative scene.
On March 20, 2027, EWA KOC will perform at Cavatina Hall. This will be a unique opportunity to hear live a new project from five artists who together open a whole new chapter of their musical journey.
EWA KOC enters the stage with a bang. And everything indicates that he will stay on it for a long time.
