Love, desire, rebellion and a cyrograph with the devil himself. We invite you on an extraordinary journey through the universal questions of life, truth, freedom that define us as human beings. Johann Wolfgang von Goethe's “Faust” directed by Jan Nowara is a magical spectacle that will take you deep into the darkest corners of the human soul. “Faust” is a theater that combines classics with modernity, and mysticism with realism. The unique atmosphere of the performance is co-created by the hypnotic choreography of Jarosław Stańek, the emotion-enhancing musician Tomasz Bajerski and the metaphysical space of the scenography of Magdalena Gajewska.

Fantastic picture of the struggle for the soul of man

Love, desire, rebellion and a cyrograph with the devil himself. We invite you on an extraordinary journey through the universal questions of life, truth, freedom that define us as human beings. Immerse yourself in the depths of human desires, temptations and secrets. Enter a world full of magic and mystery, where the story of man, God and Satan takes on an electrifying new dimension. Can a man thirsty for truth and love reach out with impunity to the dark forces that promise everything in exchange for his soul? Could evil be part of God's plan?

A show for viewers from the age of 16.

“The magic of this spectacle lies in its ambiguity. Novara gave viewers a real mystery to solve in their own consciences and value systems. What is his Faust? A peddled evil criminal? Or maybe not? Are blindness and devilish tricks sufficient circumstances to mitigate his actions? At the same time, if we were to look at this dilemma from a greater distance. They threw it on the grid of modern events. What is the weight of the vices of evil, perpetrated in the rhythm of conjuncturalism, the omnipresent impulse towards a simple and light life? And how can we weigh the increasingly rare acts of pure good?”

Jacek Mroczek on “Faust”
