Poczet Makers of Special Artists is a special concert prepared for the Festival of Masterpieces, in which Bartłomiej “Eskaubei” Skubisz, together with top Polish jazz musicians and pioneers of Polish dj, producer and creator of music for theatrical performances, will present a compilation of works inspired by the life and work of important cultural creators.

During the concert there will be jazz & spoken word and jazz & rap songs about such artists as: Halina Powiatowska, Tomasz Stańko, Bruno Schulz, Wojciech Kilar, Julian Przyboś, Stanisław Lem, Marek Nowakowski and Leopold Tyrmand. The presented texts will sound to music composed by Tomasz Nowak, Wojciech Długosz and collective compositions.

The narrator will sometimes talk about the creators, sometimes he will play their roles, and other times he will enter the very center of the chosen work. All this is embedded in author's compositions, interspersed with racial improvisations.

As part of the festival, we will celebrate the creators of masterpieces.
